The following rules govern all the basic interactions within the Elect Ragnarok Online game. Please be aware that failure to comply with these rules of conduct may result account termination and such.
1. Harassment in any kind (ex: verbal, physical, sexual etc) and spamming/flooding the chat will not be tolerated
Sanction In-game:
1st offence 10 mins mute
2nd offence 20 mins mute
3rd offence 30 mins mute
If the player that has been reported is not Online, sanction still applies by jailing the suspect.
2. Botting (or using any kind of third party)
Sanction: Banned
3. Phping (or selling through any currency is prohibited)
Description: Using currency to trade/sell/buy in-game items.
Sanction: Banned
4. Scamming/Hacking *Reminder* NO LOST/SCAMMED/HACKED items will be given back !
Description: Due to players that is careless and greedy, giving out their passwords or not paying attention to trades/vends.
Sanction: Banned
5. Impersonating (Elect Ragnarok Online Staff Member or any player)
Description: Copying the same name of the Staff this includes names starting with GM (or anything similar)
Copying the same name of the Player or changing the character letters in order to mix up the other players
Sanction: Banned
6. Offensive name/party/guild name + guild emblem/ chatroom names, vend names.
Sanction:
1st Offence: 5 mins mute (until character has been deleted, party name changed)
2nd Offence: Jailed
*Guild Emblem + Name
1st offence: Jailed until it is changed or *if you're not the GM* you will have to leave the guild in order to be unjailed
2nd offence: Guild will be deleted
7. Advertising for other server is strictly prohibited
Description: Using the Broadcast, or making a chatroom, or spamming chats to advertise another server.
Sanction: Banned
8. Obstructing any NPCs (Doing so denies other players' use of the NPC)
Description: Putting your chatroom/shop in a 2-tiles range of an NPC.
Sanction In-game:
1st offence: Character will be warp to it's saving point
2nd offence: Jailed
9. Do not beg for items, zeny or anything else.
Description: You start dealing/asking for items/zeny/stuff to somebody.
Sanction In-game:
1st offence: 10 mins mute
2nd offence: 15 mins mute
3rd offence: Jailed
10. Resu-Killing in PVP room
Description: Killing and resurrecting them to get more kill points especially in PVP.
1st offence: 15mins Jail
2nd offence: 30mins Jail
3rd offence: 1 day jail
11. Woeing/Guild War without a Guild
Description: Woeing without a guild and capturing the Castle without holding a guild is prohibited
Sanction: Banned
12. Using Third Party Programs and Edited GRF clients.
Description: Using Programs and Edited clients for imbalance gaming. (ea. Non-stop skills without delay)
1st Sanction: Banned for 2 weeks
2nd Santion: Ban all related accounts + IP Ban

It is possible to report any type of Abuses with proofs (screenshots in most cases) and if justified he/she will be punished accordingly.
All sanctions can be changed by the GM team depending on how severe it is.
